Driven by a passion for artist-centered journalism and storytelling, I played a key leadership role in the Recording Academy’s Chicago Creators Summit, where I also contributed a feature for GRAMMY.com. Beyond writing, I helped plan and co-produce the summit, managed event logistics, served as talent lead, and personally attended every session to interview participants and provide access to event insights for those unable to attend.

My article spotlighted the Academy’s impact on Chicago’s creative community, blending thoughtful reporting with multimedia storytelling. I interviewed GRAMMY-nominated rapper and producer Saba about building authentic fanbases and leading with intention in today’s music industry. I also connected with music executives, producers, and independent artists to capture conversations around mental wellness, sync licensing, emerging tech, and the Recording Academy’s evolving role in creator advocacy and education.
